Bellthorne became so much more than I ever imagined — and after all these years, it's finally time for me to retire.

What began as a love for beautiful, character-filled bags grew into something that reached women far beyond what I ever expected. Now, I'm ready to slow down and begin a new chapter.

More Than Just a Bag

I've always believed the things we carry every day should have a little personality. A bag can be practical, of course, but it can also make you smile — whether it's covered in flowers, cats, birds, books, or a design that simply reminds you of someone you love.

Those are the pieces I've loved sharing through Bellthorne, and seeing women find a design that feels completely their own has always been one of my favourite parts of this journey.

It's Time for Me to Retire

After all these years, I've decided it's finally time to slow down and spend more of my days with my family and grandchildren instead of keeping up with the demands of running Bellthorne.

It's a bittersweet decision, but it feels like the right one. And there was just one question left to answer: what should happen to all the beautiful bags that are still here?

I could have marked everything down and run one final sale. But I couldn't bear the thought of the remaining bags simply sitting on shelves or being packed away after I retire.
